California Christmas Candle
*LIMITED EDITION* *RETURNS 2024*
BY THE WAY...
I'll be honest, this candle does not give me Christmas or Cali, but that is not to say that it's a bad candle-- it smells lovely actually. I get a lot of effervescence, cognac and orange with a light beachy vibe and soft scent. I'm taking off a couple of stars because the throw is not strong enough for my taste-- I only burn single wicks in enclosed spaces bc they're never strong enough for a kitchen or open space and this candle barely filled my office. I also felt like it tunneled quite a lot for a vessel that's pretty enclosed, I had to use a candle topper to get a close to even burn. I'm currently burning another scent and the experience has been much better so it might just be the candle I got.
Smells like Men's Cologne
The review section is filled with positive comments and I really want to share some optimistic vibes as well, especially that it is the Christmas season. But this smells like a men's cologne to me. I thought I will smell fresh oranges, but for me, the scent blend is too synthetic and overly perfumey. I have enjoyed and loved tons of citrus & fresh handmade scented candles from various small business because I have been collecting them since October 2021. It was just sad and disappointing to have such s high expectations on a candle and not be able to reach it. I still love TNS team. I support the brand and appreciate how they interact with clients, especially via Instagram.
Light & Breezy
I received this candle as a sample and thought the scent was fresh, light, and lovely . Personally, I do not find it to be holiday, but I loved the mix of citrus with salty air. The top notes were very prominent for me. It felt very beachy without being toooooo beachy. It's something I might consider purchasing in the future with the intention of burning in the summer.
Best Christmas Candle!!
I purchased this last year and instantly fell in love. I was sad when I went back to order a bigger one and it was sold out! I didn’t make the same mistake this year. I purchased the big one. Even my husband says it is his favorite!
Cali Christmas + Heatwave
I mainly get the citrus note in this one. If you’ve ever baked and dried orange slices, it reminds me of that. I did however feel like it was missing something in order become part of the regular candle rotation. It turns out that Heatwave adds the perfect amount of green that I was looking for, Ingrid is always on point with the suggested scent pairings! I always burn them together now.
