Ring in the holiday season with Only in New York, the east coast counterpart of our bestselling scent, California Christmas. Inspired by Ingrid’s daily commute in Brooklyn and her love of holiday rom-coms, this fragrance is sweet and festive with notes of almond extract, caramel macchiato and frosted fir for a hint of wintery crispness. It aims to capture the small, everyday moments that are quintessentially New York, like ducking into a coffee shop during a snowstorm, Christmas trees lining the sidewalk, the smell of fresh pignolis being made by a local baker (Hi Claudio!), and the sheer delight of chance encounters. It’s a reminder of the magic that resides in the city if you slow down enough to appreciate it.

We *STRONGLY* recommend ordering the real pignoli cookies that inspired this candle. They're Ingrid's favorite! Erica's fave = the Nutella amorinis. ;)

this candle took me a bit to get used to but i love the sweetness, it is a sweet scent but not too sweet

Delicious Perfection

I love to burn this candle after dinner its sweet but not too sweet and has become my favorite way to transition the evening! Perfection! I would love for this scent to be available year round!

Another Day, Another Slay

I’ve been a loyal customer of TNS since the very beginning and this is definitely one of my absolute fave scents (honorable mentions include Sapphics in the City and Library in a Forest)

Gourmand yes, herbaceous no

I think this is a really excellent gourmand candle - very sweet, warm and cozy without crossing into cloying. That said, I think labeling it as "gourmand / herbaceous" is a bit misleading. It just smells like cookies. And it smells like cookies in a satisfying, nuanced way! But I've burned it several times trying to pick up on the base notes and asked multiple guests what they thought it smelled like WITHOUT telling them the notes first (thinking maybe my nose just wasn't refined enough) but not a single person included piney / woody / herby in their description and when I read them the notes they were shocked there's meant to be a fir and pine note in here. Absolutely no hate to TNS because I've loved every other candle I've bought from them and again, this is a great gourmand. Just wanted to post a review letting folks know because I LOVE pine-y / woody candles as well as sweet scents and I was stoked at the prospect of a candle that combined them, and then I was pretty let down when it got here. Don't make my mistake!! Haha.

Delicious!

I bought The Usual, California Christmas, and Only in New York (OINY) and from this batch, OINY has the strongest cold and hot throws! It smells so delicious, perfect while drinking our morning black coffee. Thanks, Lauren! I enjoy this candle so much!
