Library in a Forest was inspired by Ingrid's love of nature, books and fantasy. Woody, leathery and full of wonder, this calming fragrance will transport you into a world where you're invited to believe in magic and take a moment of rest along your journey.
In this story, you are the main character, surrounded by storied trees filled with wisdom. You must follow the woman with hair like dappled sun, for she has the key to the secret library. Along your path, you have moments of uncertainty, questioning your decision. You are tired, but you choose to trust the journey.
Then, a glimmer of warm sun streams through the dense forest. You've found an opening in the forest, a reprieve. Upon getting closer, you see books stacked high, left by fellow travelers from years past. Old leather chairs nestled in moss invite you to rest. This is the Library in a Forest, where time ceases to exist and the air is so crisp it pierces your lungs.

I think Library in a Forest might be my absolute favorite so far. I want my whole life to smell like this candle, it is the perfect cozy blend.

Woody scents are my favorite, and this is PERFECT. I find it simpler than the other TNS candles I've tried, but I actually love that - on its own it's cozy and homey and you can burn it for a long time without it getting headache-y, AND it also layers exceptionally well with other candles. So far, I've layered it with: - Girl in a Sweater (life-changing if you love autumnal candles, want my home to smell like this all the time) - The Dropout (very sensual, perfect for nighttime especially if you've got company coming over wink wink) - Only in New York (OINY was too sweet for me, but paired with LIAF it was a much more well rounded holiday scent for my personal tastes) I've also tried it with candles from other brands and it worked great with those too. Is there a candle you like but don't love? Burn it at the same time as LIAF and it'll become a woodier, leathery, more sophisticated version of itself. It's a fun trick.
